Our Physicians

Janet Belton, MD, F.A.A.P.

 Dr. Belton attended University of Central Florida, completing a degree in Microbiology in 1986, followed by University of Florida College of Medicine 1993. Her Pediatric residency was at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Women where she served as Journal Club Captain during 1994-1995 and trained as an extern at the Navajo Indian Reservation in Chinle, Arizona. She is a board certified fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been in private practice with Altamonte Pediatrics since 2001. Dr. Belton practices in our Apopka office  She has special interest in medical missions and has served recently in war-torn Sierra Leone, West Africa as well as Guatemala. She has three children and two grandchildren.


Jaime E Candelori, MD, FAAP

Jaime E Candelori, MD, FAAP Dr. Candelori was born in Phoenixville, PA and is married to David Sunnenberg. They are expecting their first child in November 2009, and have two energetic dogs, Dante and Dobby. Dr. Candelori completed her undergraduate degree at Ohio Wesleyan University and received her MD from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She did her Pediatric Residency training at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. She is a board certified fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been in private practice with Altamonte Pediatrics since completing her training in 2007. She is on the board of the Central Florida Pediatric Society and is a member of the Physician's Alliance of Kid's House of Seminole County. Her medical interests include Teen Health, Public Health and Prevention, and asthma. Her interests outside medicine include cooking, painting, and discovering the great outdoors.


Andrea Burns, MD

 

Dr. Burns was born in Melbourne, FL. She completed her undergraduate degree at Florida A & M University and received her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Burns went on to complete her  Pediatric training at Winnie Palmer & Arnold Palmer Hospitals for Women, Babies and Children. She has been a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2006. Her medical interests include obesity prevention, eczema education and parent child bonding. Her hobbies include playing tennis, event coordinating, church activities and spending time with family and her toy poodle Brody. She is single and enjoys spoiling her niece and nephew.
