||Dr. Nguyen is from Orlando, Florida. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in biochemistry from Florida State University in 2007, where she was a member of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. During her undergraduate studies, she traveled to Panama City, Panama, to volunteer at a children’s malnutrition clinic. She continued her graduate studies at Florida State University College of Medicine and obtained her medical degree in 2012. During her final year in medical school, she participated in a mission trip to Nicaragua and provided supervised primary care to the rural villages of Los Cedros and Los Romeros. She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of South Florida in 2015. She enjoys the continuity of her patients and is passionate about preventive medicine. Her special interests include pop culture, dancing, and cycling. She and her husband have one son and 2 German Shepherds.
