Edward Zissman, MD, F.A.A.P.
| Dr. Zissman was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Temple University and Hahnemann Medical College both in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his pediatric internship at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and pediatric residency at the U.S. Naval Hospital and New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. He is a board certified fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been in private practice with Altamonte Pediatrics since 1974. His professional positions include Founding Medical Director of the Central Fla. Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and the Central Fla. Tay Sachs Disease screening program. He is the past president of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and current AAP District X Vice Chair. His medical interests include behavioral disorders and disorders of elimination. His other interests include community activity, jazz, travel, and sports. Dr. Zissman is married and has four children and two grandchildren. |
Wayne Soven, MD, F.A.A.P.

Dr. Soven was born in New York, New York. He
earned his medical degree in 1983 from the University of Miami
School of Medicine (Miami, Florida). He completed his residency in
Pediatrics in 1986 at Jackson Memorial Hospital where he served as
the chief resident the last year of his residency. He is a board
certified fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been
in private practice with Altamonte Pediatrics since 1986. He
specializes in behavioral medicine, with specific training in
attention deficit disorder and learning disabilities. He is a
member of the Central Florida Pediatric Society, American Academy
of Pediatrics, and the American Medical Association. He is married
and has three children. |
Brian Harris, M.D., F.A.A.P.
| Dr. Harris was born in Miami, Florida. He attended
the University of Florida for both undergraduate studies and
medical school. Dr. Harris completed his residency in pediatrics at
Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. He is a board
certified fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been
in private practice with Altamonte Pediatrics since 1993. Dr.Harris
is the past president of the Central Florida Pediatric Society and
the president of the Pediatric section of Florida Hospital
Altamonte. His medical interests include newborn care, pediatric
infectious diseases, and asthma. His hobbies include weight
training, popular music, and community activism. Dr. Harris is a
single parent of two daughters. |
