Nurse Practitioners

Kerry Mullen, CPNP

Kerry Mullen was born in Miami, Florida. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing career at Jackson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1991. She continued her education at University of Central Florida graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 1997 and at University of Florida completing her Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 1999. She joined Altamonte Pediatric Associates in 2004 where she enjoys helping children grow up healthy. Kerry is also the research coordinator for Children's Research at Altamonte Pediatrics. Kerry is married and has two children.

Janel P. Saunders, CPNP

Janel P. Saunders earned her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She is board certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Janel is president of the Florida Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, The National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and the Florida Nursing Association. She serves as a primary care provider and a Fit Kid Club consultant at Altamonte Pediatric Associates. Janel is married to Russell Saunders, and enjoys, biking, running, swimming, hiking, yoga, reading, and traveling.

Janice Cashion, CPNP

Janice Cashion was born in Winter Park, Florida. She earned her Master's of Science in Nursing, specializing in Pediatrics, from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a nationally certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the Central Florida Association of Nurse Practitoners. Janice has been with Altamonte Pediatrics since June 2004. She has three children and enjoys being involved with their school and sports activities.
